FIELD: insulation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat- and sound-insulation product containing mineral fibers and a binder obtained as a result of curing a binder compound containing as components: a) compounds containing at least one epoxide functionality, including at least one epoxide precursor selected from aliphatic compounds containing at least two epoxide functionalities, b) a hardener selected from compounds containing at least two reactive functionalities selected from hydroxyl and carboxylic acid functionalities. For carboxylic acid functionality, it is possible to be in the form of salt or anhydride. The total weight of the binder is from 0.5 to 15% of the total weight of mineral fibers.

EFFECT: obtaining an insulation product with a binder, in which all binder components are derivatives of natural products, are non-toxic for the endocrine system and are easy-to-use for the specified purpose.
