FIELD: feed choppers.

SUBSTANCE: feed chopper includes a hopper in the form of a horizontal rotating cylindrical drum with a blank bottom and a loading hatch on its side wall. The front wall of the bunker is made fixed with a round opening and a body adjoining it from the outside with unloading windows. Inside the housing there is a bladed impeller rotor, the blades of which are equipped with grinding knives. A lifting gate is installed on the front wall inside the hopper. The feed chopper is equipped with a mechanism for synchronizing the movement of the rotor and the shutter, made in the form of a rotary crank shaft with one or two fingers connected by connecting rods to the rotor and the shutter.

EFFECT: invention provides improved reliability and safety of the feed chopper.
