HIP PROSTHESIS ADAPTER Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F2/60 A61F2/64 A61F2/66 A61F2/68

Abstract RU 2775127 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: hip prosthesis adapter for connecting the hip to the body has a knee joint rotatable between a support position and a swing position, with a proximal upper part of the knee joint and a distal lower part of the knee joint, connected by the ventral joint arm and the dorsal joint arm. The ventral joint arm is hinged through the ventral upper axis of the knee joint with the proximal upper part of the knee joint and is hinged through the ventral lower axis of the knee joint with the distal lower part of the knee joint. The dorsal joint arm is hinged through the dorsal upper axis of the knee joint with the proximal upper part of the knee joint and is hinged through the dorsal lower axis of the knee joint with the distal lower part of the knee joint; and an ankle joint for hinging the ankle joint with the leg assembly connected with the knee joint. The leg assembly has a ventral connecting element configured to transmit shear and tensile forces, and a dorsal connecting element. The ventral connecting element is rotary-hinged with the ankle part at one end through the ventral axis of the ankle joint and similarly, with the distal lower part of the knee joint at the other end, and the dorsal connecting element is connected with the ankle part at one end through the dorsal axis of the ankle joint and is hinged with the proximal upper part of the knee joint and the dorsal joint arm at the other end through the dorsal upper axis of the knee joint so that resetting the knee joint from the support position to the swing position causes dorsal extension of the ankle part.

EFFECT: possibility of a natural walk and higher energy efficiency and safety in falling for the patient.
