FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of X-ray and accelerating equipment, in particular, to generators and accelerators of charged and neutral particles. Generator comprises a pyroelectric crystal, a heating apparatus, a power source, and a target with a mount. The heating apparatus is made in the form of a Peltier element, and the power source is contained in an additionally installed thermal controller located outside of the evacuated body on a heat line, secured whereon is also a thermocouple, all of which in combination perform periodic variation of the temperature of the pyroelectric crystal according to the sine law. Proposed are variants of the generator.

EFFECT: increase in the stability and reproducibility of an ionising radiation flux.
