FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The chain drive with large links consists of two spoked hubs, connecting and moving links, in which the connecting links contain two bushings for additional axles of adjacent moving links, a contact surface, a spike that is inserted into the guide profile to ensure rectilinear movement. Spokes of two types are fixed on the hub, so that the spokes of the first type contain a contact surface for interaction with the contact surface of the connecting link, and the spokes of the second type end with a tooth, the movable link contains a socket for the spoke tooth, an additional axis that is inserted into the sleeve of the connecting link, so that the movement of this axis in the sleeve changes the distance to the center of the sprocket and ensures the coordination of the rectilinear type of movement of the chain links and the rotational movement, two pins at the beginning and end of the movable link, which are inserted into the guide profile, located along the trajectory of rotation of the centers of the axes of the movable links, which ensures the rotation of the links when changing the type of movement.
EFFECT: exclusion of chain drive stretching is provided.
