FIELD: hydraulic engineering; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal sheet piles and sheet pile walls made from them and can be used in hydraulic engineering during construction of sea and river berths, as well as in construction when erecting in soil retaining walls for various purposes, for which additional reinforcement is not needed. Method of erecting a sinusoidal sheet pile wall is characterized by that the sheet pile wall is mounted from sheet piles, which is a segment of a cylindrical metal pipe obtained by its longitudinal section, where on the side edges of the body there fixed are elements of the lock connection, which are used to connect the sheet piles. In the middle part of the sheet piles, plates are welded, each of which represents a segment of a cylindrical metal pipe of the same diameter as used in the sheet pile, but having a smaller length than the pile segment.
EFFECT: improvement of strength characteristics of sheet pile wall, as well as facilitating the process of erection of a sinusoidal sheet pile wall, which does not require additional reinforcement, eliminating the problem of changing the diameter of piles under loads, that is, the problem of ovality.
