FIELD: Flexible Ethernet control channel.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for establishing a Flexible Ethernet control channel. It is determined whether the FlexE physical layer carries actual client service flows in combination with the configuration negotiation mechanism provided by the FlexE header: when no valid service flow is spawned, a broadband control channel is created and control signaling is switched to the broadband control channel for transmission; when the client service flows are spawned, the control signaling switches to the control channel configured by the user for transmission, and the broadband control channel is removed. In addition, before deleting some or all of the client service flows, control signaling for transmission switches to a non-remote-control channel configured by another user or an established broadband control channel; when all valid client service flows are removed, the wideband control channel is re-created and the control signaling for transmission is switched to the wideband control channel, which satisfies the requirements for occupancy of a wide control signaling bandwidth.

EFFECT: ensuring that there is no loss in the channel where the control signaling is located in order to satisfy the needs of the control signaling to occupy a wide bandwidth.
