FIELD: temperature measurement devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for calibrating a temperature measurement device capable of measuring the surface temperature of a target object by measuring the energy of radiation emitted by the target object using spectroscopy and by applying signal processing to the dispersion spectrum information thus obtained, as well as to a calibration device for such a temperature measuring device. The method for calibrating a temperature measuring device according to the present invention includes the following steps: measuring dispersion energy spectrum information of radiation from a blackbody furnace and dark current data with a temperature measuring device before replacement and with a temperature measuring device after replacement, at each of many different temperatures; using the thus measured information, generating a temperature measurement value to be measured by a contact thermometer included in the temperature measurement device after replacement, and dispersion spectrum information corresponding to the temperature measurement value from the temperature measurement value measured by the contact thermometer included in the measurement device temperature before replacement, and dispersion spectrum information corresponding to the measured temperature value; and using the thus generated information, the base spectrum and the calibration line for the temperature measuring device after replacement are determined.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the calibration process while simplifying the calibration process and reducing the time to complete it.
