FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for measurement of density of crude oil in API degrees. Device for measurement of crude oil density in API degrees comprises pipeline (1) for oil, thermocouple (4) in pipeline for measurement of temperature of oil in contact with it, sapphire window (3) in pipeline, infrared thermometer (5, 6) for measuring temperature of oil through window and means (20) for comparison of temperature measurements obtained by thermometers to obtain a measure of emissivity of crude oil and, therefore, its density in API degrees.

EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy of obtained data.
