FIELD: coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrodeposition of Fe-Ni-P coatings on a part. The method includes electrodeposition of a coating from an electrolyte at a mains frequency AC. The coating is electrodeposited at an asymmetric AC from an electrolyte containing, g/l: FeSO4·7H2O 300 to 350, NiSO4 30 to 50, H2SO4 100 to 150, ascorbic acid 1.5 to 2, NaPH2O2 5 to 15, at a temperature of the electrolyte of 20 to 25°C; wherein the AC asymmetry coefficient is gradually changed from 2 to 10 by increasing the cathode current pulse density from 5 to 30 A/dm2 at a rate of 4 to 10 A/dm2/min.
EFFECT: strong adhesion of the Fe-Ni-P coatings made from a sulphate electrolyte with the base, increase in the wear resistance and corrosion resistance thereof.
