FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardening of reconditioned surfaces of steel parts and is intended for obtaining high hardness and wear resistance of reconditioned surfaces. According to the method, a layer of iron-titanium-molybdenum disulphide coating with titanium content of 2.0-6.0% is electro-deposited, which is subjected to thermal treatment for 1 hour at temperature of 673 K. Method includes deposition from electrolyte containing, kg/m3: iron chloride 400-600; titanium oxalate 15-25; hydrochloric acid 0.5-1.5; molybdenum disulphide 20-30.

EFFECT: increased wear resistance of electrodeposited coatings iron-titanium.
