FIELD: pipeline repair.

SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of pipeline repair. The device is a sarcophagus made of at least two sections, each of which consists of two trough-shaped parts, the body of each of which is made with longitudinal flanges around the perimeter along the length of each to connect these parts to each other. Both trough-shaped parts of each section, on the one hand, are made with a recess for accommodating a sealing unit for resting on the pipeline, and on the other hand, with half-flanges that are combined into a flange when connecting parts for connecting two abutting sections to each other when covering the pipeline with the formation of a cavity between the pipeline and section walls. On the sarcophagus, on at least one trough-shaped part located under the pipeline, there is a unit for supplying the curing composition into the sarcophagus, and on at least one trough-shaped part located above the pipeline, the unit for withdrawing water and/or the hardening composition. In each section, the body of each trough-shaped part is made with an outer and/or inner surface formed by a rectilinear generatrix, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the section and perpendicular to the mating surface of the flange on this body. On each body of the trough-shaped part located above the pipeline, stops are fixed with the possibility of adjustable movement in the direction from the body wall to the longitudinal axis of the section for contact with the pipeline and aligning the position of the section relative to the pipeline wall.

EFFECT: method for repairing a damaged straight section of a pipeline is proposed.
