FIELD: vending machines.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to water vending devices, i.e. to vending machines for the sale of water obtained from tap water by processing it, designed to work outdoors at negative ambient temperatures. The technical problem is the need to reduce power consumption during the operation of the water vending machine at negative ambient temperatures. The water vending machine contains a housing (1), a fan (9) and a water reservoir (4) for drinking water, made of metal and located in the lower part of the housing (1) at a distance from the bottom (3) of the housing (1), so that between the bottom (3) and the plane (7) of the bottom (6) of the water reservoir (4), a functional space (8) is formed in which the fan (9) is located. In addition, the side walls (5) of the water reservoir (4) are coupled with the side walls (2) of the housing (1) covering them, so that side gaps are formed between the side walls (2) of the housing (1) and the side walls (5) of the water reservoir (4) covering them, side gaps δ are formed. The method consists in the fact that in these gaps, when water is in the water reservoir (4) and at a negative ambient temperature, air is injected by a fan (9) from the functional space (8).
EFFECT: use of the thermal energy of the water contained in the water reservoir.
