FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piloting devices and concerns an active control handle containing built-in power feedback. The device contains a shaft and a control lever, a magnetic brake, a power feedback drive, a drive current source, a movable magnetic element, distancing means. The drive operates by a resistance force counteracting the rotation of the shaft around the axis. The magnetic brake contains a brake part connected to the shaft, and a volume containing rheological fluid contacting the brake part. At the same time, the shift resistance of rheological fluid changes depending on a magnetic field. The movable magnetic element emits the magnetic field in the volume, while it is subjected to impact directed towards a close location to the magnetic brake. Distancing means are made with the possibility of retention of the movable magnetic element in a distanced position, when receiving electric current power supply, and are made with the possibility of no retention of the movable magnetic element in the distanced position, when distancing means do not receive power supply.
EFFECT: automatic and passive actuation of a magnetic brake in case of failure affecting a current source, creation of an emergency doubling channel without the loss of feedback, increase in safety.
