FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to boat motors, more specifically, to a system and method for automatic decoupling of the transmission. The automatic decoupling system for application on an outboard boat motor comprises an engine, a drive shaft, a gearbox, a rod for moving the cam coupling clutch, and a gear shift control body. The latter is connected with the thrust conversion hinge. The system also includes a decoupling and coupling clutch, a control switch and an autonomous power source intended to supply electricity to said decoupling and coupling clutch via said control switch. Provided is an electric coupling clutch controlled by a touch switch activated and deactivated by a lever mechanism of the gear shift system of the outboard motor.
EFFECT: smoothness of gear shifting is achieved.
