FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the petroleum and gas industry, in particular, to production using the technology for hydraulic fracturing of productive petroleum layers. Granules of the proppant of an aluminosilicate or magnesium silicate composition are mixed with an aqueous polymer solution. The solution includes an anionic water-soluble polymer Polyprop-2-enamide hydrolysed with 2-ethylhexylprop-2-enoate, in the form of a hydrated powder or an effective flocculant, flotation agent, dispersing agent, or synthetic-based thickening agent. After hydration and swelling of the polymer, a coating layer is formed around the granule, with a thickness of 10% of the diameter of the proppant.
EFFECT: production of a proppant with a thin coating capable of swelling at interaction with water, forming a working fluid with an injection-ready propping agent, and providing the sand-carrying capacity of the working fluid needed for the hydraulic fracturing works, as well as optimal rheological properties, thereby reducing the amount of chemical reagents and the environmental hazard on the soil.
