FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises: determining, by user equipment, UE, in FBE mode, that a communication channel in an unlicensed spectrum region is available for use; and the transmission, by said UE, of a first transmission to a gNB node in a fixed frame period, FFP, associated with said UE, to initiate a first communication channel occupancy time interval, COT, within this FFP period by said UE, a first transmission starts at the beginning of the FFP period and ends before the onset of a free period within this FFP period; and receiving, by the UE, information on a time interval during which the UE is allowed to initiate periodic COT intervals, said time interval comprising an FFP period.
EFFECT: reduced delays in equipment mode based on use of frames, FBE.
