SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of particle accelerator technology and can be used in medicine for the treatment of oncological diseases and neoplasms using proton therapy and for the production of various medical isotopes in nuclear medicine. In the output zone, the shape of the yoke, magnet sectors, and coil windings is non-circular and repeats the shape of the orbit of the accelerated particles, and a chamfer is made along the edge of the magnet sectors in the area of the output zone, which also repeats the shape of the trajectory of the accelerated particles.
EFFECT: simplification of the beam output, since less tension is required on the deflector while maintaining the compact size of the accelerator.
