METHOD AND SYSTEM OF MAGNETOMETRIC LOCAL NAVIGATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01S5/16 G01R33/24 G01C21/20

Abstract RU 2776319 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to navigation systems. The effect is achieved by creating an alternating rotating low-frequency magnetic field in space, which is received by two magnetic field sensors installed on the navigation object at a given distance between them, measuring the amplitudes and phases of the spatial components of the magnetic field, calculating the coordinates of the points of location of the first and second magnetic field sensors relative to magnetic field source and calculate the distance between the first and second magnetic field sensors with subsequent comparison with the specified distance between them and calculation of the error of its determination, at the same time, if the error value is less than the permissible value, then the navigation information is given to the consumer, and if the error value is greater than the permissible value, then a signal is given that prohibits the issuance of navigation information to the consumer.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the navigation object.
