FIELD: local navigation systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for determining the coordinates of a moving object relative to a source of an alternating rotating magnetic field in open space and indoors. The claimed magnetometric complex for navigating objects in space additionally contains magnetic field sensors that determine the magnitude of the magnetic field induction along the OX and OZ axes, tilt angle meters that determine the angle of deviation of the positioning device from the vertical, and a data processing unit that calculates the position angle, height and the distance of the moving object relative to the source of the alternating rotating magnetic field.
EFFECT: expanding the navigation area of movable objects located in the action zone of an alternating rotating magnetic field, and determining the distance from the navigation object to the source of the alternating rotating magnetic field, as well as the height of the movable object above the installation location of the source of the alternating rotating magnetic field.
