SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of ecology and can be used for localization, containment of the spread of hydrocarbon contamination, as well as for the removal of hydrocarbon pollution from the soil surface. According to the first variant, the method for eliminating hydrocarbon contamination of the soil provides for burning a spot of hydrocarbon contamination located on the soil surface by setting it on fire at several points using pulsed laser radiation having the intensity necessary to ignite a certain type of polluting hydrocarbons, after the spread of combustion over the entire surface of the said spot, the impact of pulsed laser radiation is stopped, at the end of the combustion, the remaining hydrocarbon pollution spots on the soil surface are sorbed by evenly applying hydrophobized top peat to its entire area, and afterburning the hydrocarbon contamination spot by moving a beam of continuous laser radiation over the surface of the said spot. According to the second variant, the method for eliminating hydrocarbon contamination of the soil provides for the introduction of an aqueous solution of a plant growth stimulator and a suspension of a biodestructor preparation, which is a biological product based on strains of oil-oxidizing microorganisms, into the soil following the afterburning of a spot of hydrocarbon contamination.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of removing hydrocarbons from the soil, simplifying the process of eliminating contamination, as well as reducing the negative impact on the environment by ensuring the restoration of lands contaminated with hydrocarbons.
