Based on the obtained spectral analysis of cough sounds, a set of diagnostically significant indicators is determined: the total duration of the cough act, ms; duration of the 1st phase of cough, ms; duration of the 2nd phase of cough, ms; the ratio of the energy of low and medium frequencies to the energy of high frequencies of the entire coughing act; the ratio of the energy of low and medium frequencies to the energy of high frequencies of the 1st phase of cough; the ratio of the energy of low and medium frequencies to the energy of high frequencies of the 2nd phase of cough; the frequency of the maximum energy of the entire sound of the coughing act, Hz; frequency of maximum sound energy of the 1st cough phase, Hz; frequency of the maximum sound energy of the 2nd phase of cough, Hz. Using the values of diagnostically significant indicators, using the original regression equation, an integral indicator is calculated. Based on the value of the integral indicator, the absence or presence of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the subject of the study is determined.

EFFECT: method allows detecting the presence or absence of coronavirus infection COVID-19 at the stage of primary examination or screening study.
