SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for simulating sports exercises in an air stream, namely to wind tunnels of a closed recirculation type, which can be used for aerodynamic studies of the technique of performing exercises by a person (athlete, pilot) in various professional disciplines, including for sports testing and testing professional equipment for athletes, pilots, parachutists. In the preferred embodiment, the wind tunnel of the closed recirculation type contains a fan assembly, a confuser, a flight chamber, a diffuser, a return air duct and a set of rotary air ducts that combine the elements of the wind tunnel into a single system. In this case, the flight chamber is made with at least one curved section, which is made with the profile of the curved trajectory covered by a section of the Cornu spiral.
EFFECT: most complete and accurate simulation of the airflow in relation to the specific flight configuration of the athlete pilot.
