FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for the operation of oil wells and can be used to control the process of starting a rocker machine. The rocker machine contains a balancer 11, connecting rods 10, counterweights 9, a gearbox 6, an electric motor 1. The transmission of mechanical torque from the electric motor 1 to the drive shaft 7 of the gearbox 6 is carried out using an automatic transmission 3. The lower gear of the transmission 3 has a gear ratio that provides the torque and force sufficient to pull the deep pump. The upper gear corresponds to the set optimal pumping mode and satisfies a certain condition.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of rod pump drives by using less powerful motors using step-by-step torque control on the rocker machine gearbox when starting the pump, as well as regulating oil production modes.
