FIELD: shipping locks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipping locks, namely, to systems for filling and emptying lock chambers. The power supply system of the shipping lock chamber contains gates blocking the water inlet into the chamber from the reservoir, with mechanisms for opening and closing them and a damping device. Water is released into the chamber through a set of pipes installed on both sides of the lock chamber. The extinguishing devices and gates are located inside the pipes, the outlets of which are located in the bottom of the middle section of the lock chamber.
EFFECT: increasing the useful length of the lock chamber while improving the conditions for filling it with water during the locking of ships.
