FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular, to metal composite high-pressure cylinders and technologies for organising a package of gas cylinders ensuring loading onto a vehicle, and can be used in gas cylinder units of mobile automotive gas refuellers. Method for organising cylinders (1) into a package for storing and transporting pressurised process media consists in piling the cylinders in rows, forming a package of cylinders. The package of cylinders is secured using binding frames located in the planes of the side frames (2). The amount of binding frames is selected equal to the amount of side frames (2) on the cylinder (1). The metal composite cylinder (1) comprises a metal liner and an external composite shell. At least two side frames (2) with square cross-section are made in the transverse sections of the metal composite cylinder. Grooves for placing embedded elements (4) are made in each of the corners of all side frames (2) so that the grooves of four adjacent cylinders form a common cavity. In order to exclude mutual longitudinal movements of the cylinders, embedded elements (4) are positioned between all adjacent cylinders (1) and placed in the corresponding grooves of the side frames. The embedded elements (4) of the upper and lower rows of cylinders are secured by the known method with the upper and lower elements of the binding frames.

EFFECT: invention reduces overall dimensions, ensures the fullest use of the loading capacity of the vehicle, increases the efficiency, reliability and industrial safety.
