SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for assessing the quality of grain, in particular, by means of scanning and visual evaluation of parameters, followed by their comparison with given standards. The device contains a housing, a control system, a visual assessment system, a working platform for the test material. At the same time, the visual evaluation system additionally contains a positioning mechanism, including an X-axis carriage, a Y-axis carriage moving along guide support wheels, an X-axis carriage, a Y-axis carriage fixed to fixed nuts located on movable screws connected to stepper motors. , a high-resolution video camera with illumination is located on the vertical post of the X-axis carriage, a vibrating table with a vibrator is installed on the working platform for the test material, a container with cells of an elongated hemispheroid shape is fixed to the vibrating table with clamps. At the same time, the surface area of a cell of an elongated hemispheroid shape is 40% higher than half the surface area of the maximum size of the studied grain unit.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to visually evaluate the surface of an individual grain, as well as the entire surface of grains in a common array using technical vision with a continuous automated change in the position of the objects under study.
