FIELD: foundry production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry production and can be used for casting the working bodies of submersible multistage centrifugal pumps with blades and with overflow channels. The casting mold for the production of casting with overflow channels is formed by combined rods (2, 3, 4) from a cold-hardening or heat-hardening mixture. One of the mentioned rods is made composite and contains a ceramic insert for the formation of overflow channels in the casting. The ceramic insert is made by casting a ceramic suspension using models. The cavity of the forming equipment is filled with a ceramic suspension, the models are melted, and the resulting ceramic insert (1) is fired. The resulting ceramic insert (1) is placed in a tool for making a rod (2) and a rod with a ceramic insert integrated into it is obtained.

EFFECT: reduction in the complexity of manufacturing castings with blades and overflow channels is ensured while improving the quality of the surfaces of the said blades and channels.
