FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production, particularly, to production of centrifugal pumps impellers steel casting by rotational casting. Method involves pouring a portion of liquid metal into a rotating mold and its crystallisation under centrifugal forces, wherein before pouring metal on inner surface of mold and on rod, receiving liquid metal, applied layer of anti-adhesive coating in form of paint, wherein the material of the mold is a mixture of synthetic resin, hardener and sand, taken at the following ratio: resin from 1.4 to 1.5 % of sand weight and hardener from 20 to 25 % of weight of resin, and forming a cold-hardening mixture for making a mold.

EFFECT: absence of casting and surface defects of impeller casting, increase of its strength and density, increase of casting performance by 10–15 %, reduced labor intensity of casting and casting of impeller.
