SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine. The method for local therapy of osteoarthritis of the knee joint includes a once a week, for six weeks in a row, intra-articular injection to a patient in need of a drug obtained by mixing the contents of ampoules A and B containing glucosamine sulfate sodium chloride, trometamol, lidocaine hydrochloride, diethanolamine and water for injection at a component ratio, wt. %: ampoule A (preparation), ampoule B (solvent).
EFFECT: claimed method provides an increase in the effectiveness of therapy for osteoarthritis of the knee joint in patients who need it.
