FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatric surgery. Resection of a fragment of the left half of the transverse colon is performed. The intestinal wall of the resected fragment of the left half of the transverse colon, located between the free and omentum bands, is immersed in the intestinal lumen of the fragment. A serous-muscular suture is applied to each haustra of the resected fragment of the left half of the transverse colon with a non-absorbable atraumatic thread. A single nodular suture is applied to all semilunar folds of the resected fragment of the left half of the transverse colon with a non-absorbable atraumatic thread.
EFFECT: method prevents excessive elongation and expansion of the graft diameter occurring during the growth of the child in the long-term postoperative period, which practically eliminates the need for repeated surgical interventions.
