FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, in particular, to hydraulic braking systems for controlling the braking of the wheels of helicopter landing gear. Apparatus for controlling the braking of the wheels of helicopter landing gear comprises two control handles (1, 1’) with triggers (2, 2') connected by cable wires (3, 4) attached to the wheels of the landing gear. The cable wiring (3, 4) is equipped with a tensioning mechanism (15) consisting of a body (16) covered with a plug (17), inserted whereto is a sleeve (18) with a piston (19) installed therein with a cable (5) with a fixed tip (20). The cable wiring (3, 4) is also equipped with a force compensation mechanism (25) on the pusher of the pressure control valve, containing a body (31) of the hydraulic cylinder, installed wherein is a rod (33) compressed by a spring (34). The hydraulic cylinder is secured by means of a hydraulic joint connection on the bracket (22) with braces (10, 11), wherein one of the braces (11) has a fitting and an internal channel for ensuring the passage of working fluid from the pressure control valve to the hydraulic cylinder via a pipe (9).

EFFECT: improvement of the ergonomic characteristics, increase in the safety in the taxiing mode.
