SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the agriculture. Composition comprises one or more nitrification inhibitors and/or urease inhibitors in an organic liquid solvating system comprising a mixture of aprotic solvents, where the organic liquid solvating system meets the following criteria: environmental safety, ignition temperature above 63 °C (145 °F), essentially safe for contact with people and animals, resulted composition comprising at least one of nitrification and urease inhibitors with a crystallization start temperature of <4 °C (40 °F). Fertilizer granule or liquid additive that contains one or more nitrification inhibitors and/or urease inhibitors in an organic liquid solvating system. Method of producing a composition for addition to a fertilizer includes: heating a mixture containing one or more nitrification inhibitors in an organic liquid solvating system, cooling the mixture.

EFFECT: inventions can provide improved uniform application of urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors to the fertilizer beads, while not simultaneously causing the granules to stick together, provide improved stability of urease inhibitors, limit the loss of nitrogen in the soil.
