FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telematics and can be used to increase the level of train traffic safety in systems of interval control of train traffic used in tunnels or on overpasses and taking into account the presence of an employee on the train route. In the method for interval regulation of train traffic using an inductive communication channel with frequency division multiplexing and warning of the presence of personnel on the tracks, the block sections on which personnel are present are continuously determined using a system of stationary motion detection sensors; in case of absence of personnel on this and the next block section in the direction of movement, a signal of absence of personnel is generated using a carrier frequency generator and transmitted to trains via an appropriate inductive communication channel using the second frequency band. If a signal of absence of personnel is received on the train, then the maximum permissible speed is determined by means of locomotive safety devices based on a signal received via an inductive communication channel using the first frequency band. If the signal of absence of personnel is not received on the train, then by means of locomotive safety devices, the maximum permissible and actual speed is limited to 20 km/h until the signal of absence of personnel is received again.
EFFECT: increase in the level of train traffic safety is achieved due to the timely issuance of a personnel absence signal to trains.
