SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to physiotherapy, otolaryngology and neurology. A combination of low-intensity laser radiation (LILR) and pulsed laser infrared radiation (PLIR) is used. At the same time, the 635 nm wavelength LILR acts directly on the vestibular and oral surfaces of gingival tissues in the area of surgery, labile, in a scanning technique, for 1.5 minutes, with a power of 5 W. PLIR with a wavelength of 904 nm with a light pulse duration of 100 ns, a power of 15 W, 1500 Hz is applied epicutaneously in the projection zones of the operation of the upper and lower jaws through the skin of the cheek to the contact zones of exposure in a stable technique for 1.5 minutes. The time range between the supply of laser radiation of red and infrared wavelengths is no higher than 100 s. Procedures in operated patients are performed with emitters: for cavity exposure with a transmittance of 0.6 nm, for external epicutaneous exposure with laser radiation - with a transmittance of 0.45 nm. The course of treatment is 10 procedures daily.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of treatment in operated orthognathic patients, reduce inflammatory complications of the postoperative period, eliminate vasospasm in the operated tissues of the dental alveolar apparatus, reduce edema, improve the functions of chewing and swallowing due to a decrease in pain, eliminate hypoxia of the cells of the dental alveolar apparatus, improve the quality of life of operated patients.
