FIELD: petroleum production.

SUBSTANCE: method for analysing deviations in the operation of an ESP consists in the following: receiving by the control tool and recording in the memory thereof data on a particular borehole; entering the data on the operation setpoints of the ESP of this borehole into the memory of the control tool; receiving by the control tool and recording in the memory thereof data on the current operation of the ESP; recording errors in the operation of the ESP if the received data deviates from the corresponding setpoint recorded in the memory of the control tool by a preset amount; in advance or in the course of operation of the ESP, forming a predictive analytics model intended for predicting the consequences of deviations from the corresponding setpoints and preventing the possible emergency situations therein; forming a deviation alert signal when an error in the operation of the ESP is recorded, as well as a signal indicating the required impact in order to prevent a possible emergency situation, with account for the data of said predictive analytics model.

EFFECT: use of the invention for analysing deviations in the operation of an electrically-driven centrifugal pump unit (ESP) allows for an increase in the reliability due to the reduction in the occurrence of early failures of the ESP.
