FIELD: wireless technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless monitoring of reactor parameters. A system for monitoring process parameters inside a reactor vessel via a wireless communication channel contains an array of sensor-equipped radio frequency identification (hereinafter – RFID) tags placed at known height levels inside a catalyst layer in the vessel, as well as the first and the second antennas of RFID reader (transceiver) for transmission via the wireless communication channel of polling signals and reception of signals of radio frequency RFID tags, transmitted when polling signals are received. The array of sensor-equipped RFID tags is used for the determination of various parameters of the reactor inside a reaction zone. Sensor-equipped RFID tags are marked using a unique, unchangeable identification number and are connected via the wireless communication channel to various transceivers.
EFFECT: compilation of a parameter profile inside a reaction zone, and possibility of using triangulation methods for the determination of a location of each of sensor-equipped RFID tags in a three-dimensional space.
