SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound constituting a 2-amino-N-(4-hydroxy-bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-1-yl)-5-(4-((1R,5S)-3-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-1-yl)phenyl)nicotinamide fumarate dihydrate. Invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for suppressing the activity of the activin receptor-like kinase-2 (ALK-2) receptor in a subject, containing a therapeutically effective amount of the compound according to the invention and one or multiple pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. Invention also relates to a method for suppressing the activity of the activin receptor-like kinase-2 (ALK-2) receptor in a subject, including the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of the compound according to the invention or a pharmaceutical composition containing said compound to the subject. Invention also relates to a method for treating a disorder or disease selected from heterotopic ossification or Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, including the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of the compound according to the invention or a pharmaceutical composition containing said compound to the subject.
EFFECT: 2-amino-N-(4-hydroxy-bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-1-yl)-5-(4-((1R,5S)-3-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-1-yl)phenyl)nicotinamide fumarate dihydrate as an ALK-2 inhibitor for application in treating a disorder or disease selected from heterotopic ossification or Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.
