FIELD: construction and repair work.

SUBSTANCE: methods for the construction of underground parts of industrial, energy and civil buildings, hydraulic, transport and municipal engineering structures, restoration of waterproofing in the ground by injection and for the installation of cutoff curtains, injection waterproofing of new construction designs and when repairing buildings and structures. Bentonite structure former for construction, annular injection and shield tunneling, obtained by activating clay raw materials with crystalline sodium carbonate, while bentonite clay with a molar ratio of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and silicon oxide (SiO₂) is used as the clay raw material in the range of 1:4 – 1:8, respectively, and soda ash is used as crystalline sodium carbonate, with the following component ratio, wt.%: bentonite clay 92-99; soda ash 1-8, while with a sequential change in the molar ratio of Al₂O₃: SiO₂ in the series 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7, 1:8, the corresponding optimal concentrations of activating crystalline sodium carbonate form the sequence: 8%, 6%, 4%, 2%, 1%.

EFFECT: creation of a bentonite structure-forming agent that ensures the trouble-free implementation of designs related to solving large production problems in laying trench and trenchless communications, constructing underground structures, strengthening soils, and repairing buildings and building structures.
