Substance of the group of inventions consists in automatically determining groups of tubes in a stand according to the purpose channels thereof by a sorting apparatus and indicating groups of tubes in the stand in accordance with the selected purpose channel by the same apparatus.

EFFECT: simplified stage of sorting the test tubes and reduced risk of error in the implementation of the method for automated archiving of test tube data.
