SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite amine absorbent for absorbing CO₂ contained in a gas, wherein the composite amine absorbent constitutes an aqueous solution containing linear monoamine, diamine, and a first compound containing an ether bond, by the following chemical formula (I): R¹-O-(R²-O)_n-R³, wherein: R¹ is an alkyl group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, R² is a propylene group, R³ is hydrogen, n is from 1 to 3. Invention also relates to a composite amine absorbent for absorbing CO₂ contained in a gas, wherein the composite amine absorbent constitutes an aqueous solution containing monoethanolamine or 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, piperazine, and a second compound containing an ether bond, by the following chemical formula (II): R⁴-O-(R⁵-O)_n-R⁶, wherein: R⁴ is an acetyl group, R⁵ is an ethylene group, R⁶ is an alkyl group, n=1. Invention also relates to an apparatus for removing CO₂ and to a method for removing CO₂ using the above composite amine absorbents.
