FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition for repelling pests in agriculture and forestry, as well as in landscaping and horticulture, for the protection of crops and ornamental plants. Composition for repelling birds and/or mammals constitutes a repellent for the protection against being eaten by birds and/or browsed by wild animals and includes: at least one nutritional supplement for plants and a mixture produced from hop; wherein the mixture includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of humulones, lupulones, isohumulones, lupulone oxidation products such as hulupones and luputriones, alloisohumulones, abeoisohumulones, antiisohumulones, spiroisohumulones, humelic acids, dihydroisohumulones, tetrahydroisohumulones, and hexahydroisohumulones, and at least one nutritional supplement for plants constitutes a fertiliser. Composition for repelling birds and/or mammals includes at least 1% vol. mixture produced from hop, and constitutes a fully or partially isomerised extract of hop. The composition for repelling birds and/or mammals is applied to treat the seeding material.

EFFECT: proposed composition for repelling birds and/or mammals does not contain any synthetic toxic substances, is not toxic, is highly effective against target pests.
