FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to hovercraft platforms and their devices for creating an air cushion. The device for creating an air cushion contains a power plant, including two engines, two angular gearboxes and two centrifugal superchargers, which are centrifugal fans of the left and right versions, located in the forward part on the side relative to the center plane of the platform. The superchargers are connected to the engines using the indicated angular gearboxes, while an elastic coupling made of wear-resistant vibration-resistant rubber is installed between the engine power take-off shaft and the gearbox.
EFFECT: expanding the scope of non-self-propelled cargo platforms on an air cushion.
