SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, in particular to the field of flow measurement by the electromagnetic method, and can be used to measure the flow of liquid metals. An electromagnetic flow meter for liquid metals has a pipe made of non-magnetic material and wrapped with heat-insulating material, two electrodes, a magnetic circuit, an induction coil, a terminal block and a casing, while the magnetic circuit, consisting of electrically insulated plates, is collapsible and has an F-shape, and the flow meter contains three terminal blocks, two induction coils located on the arms of the magnetic circuit, two casings with a three-layer structure - metal-mineral wool-metal, one of which completely covers the magnetic circuit, and the second - part of the pipe, and the main elements of the flow meter are mounted on the frame, welded to the pipe.

EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity and reliability of the flowmeter, the possibility of operation for liquid metal with temperatures up to 450°C.
