FIELD: water purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of purification of water, industrial and domestic wastewater or sewage sludge using sorption materials, and in particular to methods and devices for obtaining such materials. The method for obtaining materials for sorption wastewater treatment is characterized by holding in a mixing device cereal waste, made in the form of fruit shells of cereal crops, in a 1% sulfuric acid solution at a pressure of 1 atm. The recovered sulfuric acid solution from the mixing device is poured into a container for the recovered sulfuric acid solution. The modified wet sorption material is washed with distilled water to neutral pH and dried. The washing liquid is sent to a container for the recovered sulfuric acid solution, from where, together with the previously drained recovered sulfuric acid solution, it is fed into a container with a 1% sulfuric acid solution for reuse.

EFFECT: obtaining a sorption material that increases the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
