FIELD: wastewater treatment.

SUBSTANCE: obtaining sorption materials based on vegetable polymers, which use the waste of deep processing of sunflower meal, designed to purify water from zinc ions (Zn2+), cadmium (Cd2+), lead (Pb2+), copper (Cu2+), used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. A method for obtaining a sorption material for water purification from zinc, cadmium, lead and copper ions from wastes of deep processing of sunflower meal is proposed, which consists in sequential processing of crushed raw materials with solutions of CelloLux A and Protosubtilin G3x enzyme preparations in a ratio of 0.5-1.5:50 enzyme/substrate by weight at pH 6 and heating at a temperature of 40-60°C for 1.5-2.5 hours, followed by washing with running water and drying at a temperature of (100±5)° C until the humidity reaches no more than 10±0.5% and sifted through vibrating screens.

EFFECT: production of a sorbent for wastewater treatment from metal ions of zinc, cadmium, lead and copper from the waste of deep processing of sunflower meal, which is a gray powder without foreign inclusions, with a moisture content of not more than 10%, and a pH of the aqueous extract of 5.0-6.5 with dry matter content - up to 95%, dry protein - up to 23%, crude fiber in terms of dry matter - about 36%.
