FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is an apparatus for producing alcohol, containing a sealed fermentation and distillation container; a water-alcohol vapour condenser with a collector for the formed condensate; and a vacuum line with at least one vacuum pump located outside the sealed container, wherein the sealed fermentation and distillation container is divided by internal dividers into zones in free gas phase communication, wherein located in one of said zones is the water-alcohol vapour condenser with a collector for the formed condensate and in the other zone is the fermenting wort with an open liquid surface; located in one of the zones is a gas-blowing apparatus ensuring the circulation of the evacuated vapour-gas medium along the following circuit: the water-alcohol vapour condenser - the fermenting wort surface - the water-alcohol vapour condenser.

EFFECT: possibility of conducting simultaneous processes of continuous fermentation and removal of alcohol, water, and carbon dioxide from the fermenting wort at an absolute pressure in the fermentation container multiple times greater than the maximum permissible partial pressure of alcohol vapours, up to and greater than the atmospheric pressure.
