METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF ALCOHOL AND DEVICE FOR REALIZATION OF THIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C12P7/06 

FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes fermentation of must, circulation of wash in closed external loop at vacuum distillation of water-and-alcohol vapor followed by condensation performed at two stages. At first stage condensation is carried out on heat-exchange surface whose temperature is so selected that part of water-and-alcohol vapor should be condensed. At second stage, final condensation is performed by jets of cooled water-and-alcohol condensate. Pressure in the condenser and evaporator is regulated through change of amount of condensed part of vapor in condenser. Device proposed for realization of this method includes fermenting vat with wash external circulating loop, evaporator built in this loop and provided with vacuum line and with at least one vacuum pump, vapor condenser connected with evaporator and condensate receiver. Condenser is built in vacuum line. Vacuum pump is made in form of jet apparatus whose passive nozzle is connected to condenser cavity and outlet and active nozzle are brought in communication with condensate receiver; heater is built in wash circulating loop after evaporator.

EFFECT: reduced power requirements; reduced overall dimensions of equipment; high extraction of alcohol from wash.
