FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular, to a method for manufacturing low-porosity workpieces from iron nickel stainless steel powders. Invention can be used to apply wear-resistant coatings using additive technologies, manufacture cutting tools, and produce workpieces for rolling. Charge is prepared by applying multigraphene in an amount of 0.1 to 1 wt.% on stainless steel powder. The resulting charge is heated and subjected to liquid phase sintering in a vacuum furnace or furnaces with a protective or reducing atmosphere at a temperature of 1,100 to 1,150°C, forming a workpiece with a residual porosity of 0.1 to 0.2%.
EFFECT: production of a workpiece with a low porosity and high strength characteristics.
