FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for obtaining structural materials with a frame structure, operating under conditions of high mechanical and thermal loads and can be used in the aviation and rocket and space industries. The method for manufacturing an isotropic titanomatrix composite material includes applying graphene coating on titanium alloy powder in a ball mill and subsequent pressing and sintering, wherein the coating is applied with multigraphene on titanium alloy powder with a size of 100-300 microns and subjected to hot isostatic pressing at a pressure of 1500 atm and a temperature of 800- 1100°C for 30-60 min.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating an isotropic titanomatrix composite material with a frame structure and improved mechanical properties while simplifying and safely carrying out the technological process.
